Coffee Catch

A little "fast-paced" endless runner where coffee is your friend! coffee comes in 5 flavours that give you a different power up!

Info:
My first game! it has many flaws, but i'm just glad i could release something.
This game was made in 3 days for the Solo Game Jam 2025.  Unfortunately i have no idea of how to save the best score so i didn't implement that.

I used A LOT of open source assets so its only fair that i give back someway and make the entire project open source,  although i'm not a good programmer at all so i'm not sure how it could help you, the project and the resources i used are in the github link; https://github.com/ToxicTheOne/coffeecatch
also used no AI for anything! very proud of that, especially for the coding.

How to play

Run away from the approaching black void and dont be pushed by the blocks.

Controls
WASD: Move
SPACE: Jump
SHIFT: Dash (goes in the direction youre looking at horizontally, it has a fixed velocity vertically)
CONTROL: Slam (goes down really fast)


COFFEE MUGS  give you a special buff + 20 score, additionally, it randomly gives you a permanent boost of speed and jump force. The abilities are:

Speed Boost white mug

Jump Boost green mug

Slow Obstacles Debuff blue mug

Small Obstacles Debuff purple mug

Sinking Obstacles Debuff red mug
